Ken Thorsen - Bsc, P.Eng
Mr. Thorsen has over 40 years experience in the mineral exploration and mining industries; including 15 years with Selection Trust, 3 years with Saskatchewan Mining and Development Corporation (Cameco), 21 years with Teck Corporation and six years as a consultant. Mr. Thorsen was directly involved at the field level with the discovery of three ore bodies and at the management level with the discovery and development of three additional ore bodies. Mr. Thorsen is a Professional Engineer, registered both in Ontario (1974) and British Columbia (2002), and obtained his BSc, Geological Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology in 1970.
Christopher Leslie - M.Sc., P.Geo.
Mr. Leslie was most recently the Senior Project Geologist at Richfield Ventures Corp.'s (now New Gold Inc. NGD:T) successful Blackwater Gold project southwest of Prince George, BC. During his time at Richfield, Mr. Leslie was an integral member of the discovery team at the Blackwater Gold project where he supervised the exploration and resource drill program that led to the most recent resource estimation of 6.52 Moz Au (NGD News Release September 19, 2011). Mr. Leslie has been involved in mineral exploration and government geoscience since 2005, working on numerous deposit styles both in grassroots exploration and in production. He holds a B.Sc. degree in geology from the University of Alberta and a M.Sc. degree in geology from the University of British Columbia.
Garett Macdonald – MBA, B.Eng
Mr. Macdonald is a mining engineer with 20 years of industry experience including an extensive background in project development and mine operations. He has been involved with several public companies as an officer & director and has managed large technical programs through concept, feasibility and into construction. After roles in mine operations and engineering with senior Canadian mining firms Teck, Placer Dome and Suncor Energy, Mr. Macdonald served as the Vice President of Operations for Rainy River Resources prior to the sale of Rainy River to New Gold in 2013. Mr. Macdonald is currently the Vice President of Project Development for JDS Energy & Mining and a director of Gungnir Resources.
